OneVillage Founder Ashley Yesayan to Speak at the American Heart Association’s Scientific Sessions 2026

A year after winning the AHA’s inaugural CarePlan Challenge, OneVillage joins a headline Innovation Lab panel on how heart health guidance moves from guidelines to digital tools to daily life.

WASHINGTON, D.C., November 2, 2026 — OneVillage, the front door to healthcare for working people and their families, announced today that Founder and CEO Ashley Yesayan will speak at the American Heart Association’s Scientific Sessions 2026 in Chicago. She joins the panel Innovation Lab: Trusted Content in Action in the Health Innovation Pavilion on Monday, November 9.

Session: Innovation Lab: Trusted Content in Action

When: Monday, November 9, 2026, 10:30 to 11:10 a.m.

Where: Health Innovation Pavilion, AHA Scientific Sessions 2026, McCormick Place, Chicago

Moderator: Joseph Villa, Bigbe Labs

Panelists: Ashley Yesayan, OneVillage · Michael Trezza, Sharecare · Jacob Peters, Founder, Superpower

The AHA describes the session as a hands-on look at how AHA CarePlans move from guidelines, to digital tools, to daily life. It is one of the headline events in this year’s Health Innovation Pavilion program. Each panelist will show their work in action, and then the group will discuss how evidence-based heart health content reaches people where they live and work.

Yesayan will talk about the working adults OneVillage serves through employer benefits. Many of them are managing high blood pressure, high cholesterol, prediabetes or a parent’s heart condition while holding down a job. OneVillage’s cardiometabolic pathway was built with American Heart Association frameworks. It pairs each member with the same coach for eight weeks, scheduled around the workday, and a human navigator handles the appointments, records and insurance questions that usually stall care.

“Guidelines only work if they reach the person in a form they can act on, on a Tuesday night, between work and caregiving,” said Ashley Yesayan, Founder and CEO of OneVillage. “The AHA has given us trusted content and a framework that holds up. Our job is to turn it into a plan and a person, so an employee with a new blood pressure reading actually gets the help.”

A growing partnership with the American Heart Association

OneVillage was named a winner of the American Heart Association’s inaugural 2025 CarePlan Challenge. The competition asked innovators to build AHA CarePlans, the Life’s Essential 8 framework and AHA risk calculators into digital health tools. OneVillage presented its winning prototype on the main stage of the Health Innovation Pavilion at Scientific Sessions 2025. Since then, the work has become part of how OneVillage serves members: AHA frameworks now shape its cardiometabolic and diabetes pathways.

About the OneVillage approach

Employers offer OneVillage as a benefit that covers employees, spouses, children and parents. Members come to OneVillage first with any health need. The team steers them to high-quality, in-network care, routes them to benefits the employer already pays for, and fills gaps with OneVillage’s own licensed specialists in more than 35 clinical areas. On average, 45% of covered employees use OneVillage, compared with about 10% for a typical employee benefit, and 96% of clients renew.
